Helen Groves Obituary
Helen T. Groves, 82, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018, at the Weirton Medical Center.
Born, August 2, 1935, in Weirton, she was a daughter of the late George and Rose Mary Vuronec Kolesar.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Groves, they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ann Berta.
Helen was a member of Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church and a former member of The Women of the Moose.
In her spare to time, she enjoyed doing word searches, coloring and watching game shows.
She is survived by her sons, Robert C. “Bert” Groves and his wife Julie of Weirton and Edward Groves and his wife Teri of Hartsville, SC.; grandchildren, Nicole (Edward) Snipes, Chelsea (Art) Groves, Krista (Robert) Lewis and Joshua Groves and great-grandchild, Joseph Snipes.
Pastor Craig Greathouse will celebrate Helen’s life Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Family of God Christian Center, 4215 Wells St. Weirton, WV., at 1:00 PM.
The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester assisted with making these arrangements.
