Esther L. (Dolly) Waters passed unexpectedly at the Park Side Health Care Center in Columbiana on Saturday, October 28, 2017.

89 years old, Dolly was born in Hookstown on February 28, 1928 to the late Avery and Olive Reed Dawson.

A lifetime area resident, Dolly was a homemaker and family matriarch. She would often go on and on about how extremely proud she was of her children, Marlene Raimond and her husband Chris of East Liverpool, and Richard Waters and his wife Barbara of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Joe Raimond, and Bobbie Young; and her great granddaughter, Kate Young. She was never afraid to tell them how much she loved them. Esther will be missed more than words can express, because she was such a wonderful mother and Nunnee. Also left with beautiful memories of Dolly are her special nieces and nephews, Mary Taylor, Sally Haynes, Evelyn Thomas, and Darlene (Jeff) Samples, as well as many more nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her close friends, Vivian McCoy and Dean and Beth Roach. Who were very close to her.

Dolly will now be reunited in heaven with her husband, Claude who died in 2015, and her siblings, Robert, Dick, and Ford Dawson, Elizabeth McMasters, Marie Allison, and Ruth Bennett.

Although we loved her, we know, we must let her go. Rest in peace sweet mom and nunnee.

Please join us as we celebrate her life on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., graveside at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery in Georgetown. Pastor Larry Rose will be the celebrant. Assistance is being provided by the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
