Edwin C. Ring, 98 of East Liverpool passed away at the Salem Regional Medical Center on Monday, December 25, 2017.

A lifelong area resident, Ed was born in Newell on May 3, 1919, to the late Oscar F. and Louis E. Seevers Ring.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Gertrude Maley Ring who he married on January 14, 1940, two sisters, Betty Mae Evelsizer, and Faith Zorn; and three brothers, Bill, Harry, and James Ring.

Ed leaves his children, Anna Mae Covert and her husband Carl of East Liverpool, Mary Beth Bruss and her husband George of Loudon, TN., Barbara Jo Winston and her husband Doug of Las Vegas, and Mark Ring and his wife Susan of East Liverpool. Fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren also survive.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, where they will present on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Private interment will be Friday at Columbiana County Memorial Park in East Liverpool.
