David Eric McGraw 22 of Chester died on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Newell.

David leaves his loving parents, Cheryl Shroades McGraw of Chester and Eric McGraw and his wife Nancy of Weirton.

He was a 2014 graduate of Oak Glen High School where he was a four-year varsity letterman on the basketball team. His passion was basketball and he continued to play almost every day. David loved hanging out with his friends, night fishing, and playing online video games.

Also surviving are his sisters, Krista McGraw and Linsey Vulgamore of Chester; grandparents, Fred (Lynn) McGraw, Dick and Linda Shroades, Kay (Dan) Anderson, and Ma Hollie McGraw. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins survive as well.

Preceding him in death was his cousin, Alex Wedgwood, and his great-grandparents, Bill and Helen Wedgwood, John & Hazel Shroades, William and Irene McGraw, and Charles and Ina Nicholson.

Father Jeeson Stephan will preside for Catholic Funeral Rites at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Monday, July 10 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
