Betty J. Vincent, 89, of New Port Richey, FL., passed away at her home on Monday, September 25, 2017.

Born, May 27, 1928, in East Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Wilber and Pearl Fickel.

Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, John Vincent and by her brother, Bob Fickle.

She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School and she later received her master’s degree in education from Kent State University.

Betty was a retired teacher for East Liverpool City Schools, where she taught 6th grade at Westgate Middle School.

She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye’s fan and enjoyed playing in her card club when she resided in East Liverpool.

Betty leaves behind her son, Jon "Greg" Vincent and his wife June of New Port Richey, FL.; sisters, Dot Garner of Venice, FL., Evelyn Talbott of East Liverpool and Judy (John) Norris of Canfield; grandchildren, Chris Vincent and his fiancé Mandan Bryda, Brandi(David)  Lloyd and Brittney(Josh) Vollmar; great-grandchildren, Jordynn Vollmar, Sawyer Bryda and Everly Lloyd.

Rev. Willard Chuck Adkins will celebrate her life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Saturday, September 30 at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at the Columbiana County Memorial Park. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
