Ada Jones, 86, of Chester, passed away, Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born, October 7, 1930, in Hookstown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Maude Allison Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Jones in 1998; and by her brother, Bill Campbell and sister, Mary Lyons.

Ada was a 1948 graduate of the former Chester High School, and she attended the First United Methodist Church in Chester.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Pendergrass and her husband Robert of Canton; sons, Brian Jones and his wife Cheryl of Morgantown, WV. and Jeff Jones and his wife Tammy of Zanesville, OH.; sister, Ruth Elliott of Chester; grandchildren, Christian (Caroll) Rosenlieb, Sarah (Allen) Kell, Travis (Courtney) Jones, Kelli (Zach) Collins, and Amanda, Michael, and Jessica Jones; and her great grandchildren, Clayton Flowers,  Kenzie Rosenlieb, Connor Rosenlieb, Elizabeth Kell, Mason Kell, and Oliver Jones.

Terri Shaderline will celebrate Ada’s life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Saturday, September 2 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at the Shadow Lawn Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Friday, September 1, from 6-8 p.m.
